Everyone loves the plumber and the AAA guy

Feeling smug about reaching the 300K mark on both our vehicles, it would appear we celebrated our frugality a little too soon. The car ground to a stop in the hot sun 20 minutes before Lauren needed a ride home from school. New here, we had no one to call to pinch hit for Mom and Dad. We hopped in a taxi and may go car shopping tomorrow.
